Job summary

CVG is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to drive Lean implementation across the plant, aligning operations with corporate goals. The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, data-driven improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a 3+ year background in Lean manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma certification, and strong leadership to mentor hourly and salaried staff through Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years in operational excellence, Lean manufacturing, or similar roles in a plant environment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) desirable.
• Strong Lean tools knowledge and ability to teach Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Lean/Operational Excellence strategies across the plant.
• Develop KPIs to track progress and report improvements to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor plant teams in Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, production, quality, and supply chain to deliver integrated solutions.
• Engage leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and manage change.
