Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Lean Technician in Vidalia, GA to lead continuous improvement in Warehousing and Operations. Over ~18 months, you will implement Lean tools under an Operational Excellence guide, coaching crews and improving takt attainment.

You will train operators and leaders on lean methods, develop standard work, and drive visual management while supporting change initiatives and problem solving across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to train and coach others on lean tools.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Train hourly operators and team leaders on lean tools.
• Lead 5S visual workplace improvements.
• Conduct cycle time analyses, time studies, line balance improvements.
• Identify and address obstacles with site personnel.
• Support Lean transformation initiatives and projects.
• Assist in new-hire onboarding and Lean training.
• Maintain visual performance tools and standard work.
• Coach line leaders to implement standard work.
