Job summary

nVent in Lexington, MN is seeking team members to drive continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor. You will partner with production teams to apply Lean principles, identify opportunities, and support safety, quality, and delivery improvements.

Onboarding will occur at Blaine or Anoka facilities until the Lexington site opens in 2027; this role offers hands‑on growth from production or operations into a Continuous Improvement career path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing environment (operator/technician/team lead).
• Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement concepts (5S, Kaizen, standard work, visual management).
• Ability to observe processes and contribute practical improvements.
• Strong collaboration on the manufacturing floor.
• Willingness to learn Lean tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement with Lean principles on the production floor.
• Partner with production teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Support Kaizen events, document actions, and track progress.
• Create or revise standardized work procedures.
• Communicate progress and learnings to teams.
