Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Lexington, MN facility opening in 2027. The role focuses on leading projects, applying Lean tools, and developing fixtures to improve production and quality. Onboarding occurs at Blaine or Anoka, MN before the Lexington site opens.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, and leadership experience. Proficiency in CAD/ERP and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership or mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from start to finish with plans, budgets, and deadlines.
• Facilitate process improvements using Lean tools to optimize layouts and reduce waste.
• Support CAPEX requests including justification and implementation.
