Job summary

Qualifications

2+ years with related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
Effective communication at multiple levels and strong relationship-building.
Growth mindset and desire to expand technical skillset.
Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer focus.
PFMEA experience preferred.
Experience with lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Poke-Yoke, VSM).
Ability to use 8D and 5 Why for root cause analysis.
Ability to assess issues related to design and tolerancing.
Low/High voltage knowledge and troubleshooting.
PLC programming a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and be the first contact for line stoppage.
Assist Engineering with equipment options research and specs.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to resolve issues.
Provide timely resolution of process and product design problems including investigations and corrective actions.
Create safe, cost-effective manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools.
Design flow lines, layouts, and controls to optimize efficiency and quality.
Uphold manufacturing standards including maps, set-ups, and cycle times.
Generate work instructions and standardized work to ensure quality at the source.
Voice of the customer input for new design development.
Partner with on-site EHS to ensure safety compliance.
