Job summary

Trane Technologies is a world leader in sustainable climate solutions. This Manufacturing Engineering Technician role is a split-shift, on-site position with 5-day weeks and ~8–10 AM start times.

You will support manufacturing on process, quality and equipment maintenance while driving continuous improvement and safety in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with engineering and operations to improve key metrics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• LOTO training and experience.
• Lean fundamentals or green belt considered a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support to manufacturing for process and product issues including quality, material, and machine repair.
• Ensure operation of production machinery via preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support production line in repairing process equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, OpEx and Production on continuous improvement.
• Lead scrap reduction and FPY improvement efforts alongside QA/Engineering.
