Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement sustainable production processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency, and design and optimize manufacturing flow lines and layouts.

You will lead standardization efforts, create work instructions, and collaborate with EHS to ensure OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience with Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.
• Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.
• Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.
• Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards include machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.
