Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain production processes that boost quality and efficiency for new product introductions and enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor's Engineering Degree and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, with strong troubleshooting, Lean, and 2D/3D modeling skills. On-site work is required, with a robust benefits package and a competitive base salary range.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Engineering Degree required.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with lean principles and techniques (Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of PLC programming or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for new product introductions and enhancements using DFM/DFA, FMEA, 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Oversee Capital planning, CERs, capital projects, and VA/VE savings.
  • Ensure all equipment meets OSHA safety regulations.
  • Lead PFMEA, APQP, DCP, Lean tools, project reviews, and simultaneous engineering.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing standards including capacity, maps, setups, quality controls, tooling, and routings.
