Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence using Lean Six Sigma across manufacturing, quality, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain. You will identify and execute initiatives that boost safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance, delivering sustainable improvements that foster a culture of continuous improvement at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and experience in engineering/operations/manufacturing.
• Experience leading Lean or Six Sigma projects in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Execute Kaizen events and waste-elimination activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, capacity, safety and cost.
• Implement sustainable solutions and verify achievement of results.
• Monitor project progress and report outcomes to site leadership.
• Facilitate structured problem solving (DMAIC, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Partner with operations to reduce scrap and downtime.
• Support data-driven decisions and Lean practices (5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, TPM).
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Conduct audits to ensure sustainability of improvements.
• Train employees and leaders on Lean principles.
• Lead workshops and improvement events.
• Drive engagement and maintain project pipeline.
