Job summary
Valmont Industries in Kentucky is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Composite Structures Division to lead safety, quality and productivity on our manufacturing floor. You will monitor performance, set schedules, and drive LEAN initiatives to meet production standards.
Qualified candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in manufacturing, and strong leadership with MS Excel/Word/Outlook skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five years of experience in manufacturing or logistics/distribution.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and present information clearly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor safety policy compliance and performance.
- Create and assign work schedules to maximize resources.
- Define production standards and monitor performance.
- Ensure quality inspections and adherence to procedures.
- Promote continuous productivity improvements and LEAN practices.
- Train new employees on policies and safety.
- Administer company policies consistently.
