Job summary

Valmont Industries in Salina, KS is seeking an Operations Manager to lead one or more departments within the Coatings organization. You will direct front-line supervisors, drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost control across the value stream, and eliminate waste to meet customer requirements.

You will execute master production scheduling, capacity planning, and Lean initiatives, promoting continuous improvement while coordinating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree: Bachelors with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to front line supervisors.
• Ensure safety systems and policies are followed.
• Develop strategies to meet product line objectives.
• Lead Lean initiatives to reduce waste.
