Job summary

Marmon Utility LLC, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality and productivity on a high-paced manufacturing floor. You will ensure schedules are met and coach staff to maintain standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, an engineering or manufacturing technology degree (or equivalent), and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience of 3-5 years in manufacturing, supervisory role.
• 2-4 year degree in engineering or manufacturing technology preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, costs, and productivity targets on the production floor.
• Oversee schedules, production flow, and adherence to planning.
• Identify staffing needs and collaborate with HR for recruitment.
• Train and develop operators; implement 5S and lean initiatives.
• Reduce downtime and improve throughput; manage KPIs.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
