Valmont Industries is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a multi-shift steel fabrication/assembly operation on-site, driving safety, quality and production targets while developing this role for future site leadership. The position includes training in troubleshooting, budgeting, HR fundamentals, and capital project execution.

Starting pay ranges from $104,900 to $150,000 depending on qualifications, with opportunities for growth into higher-level roles across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years in industrial environments.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and cost control in manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, with lean principles experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production across multi-shift operations to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Oversee scheduling, master production plan, and long- and short-range capacity planning.
• Implement continuous improvement using lean audits, kaizen events, and cost control measures.
