Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Production Specialist to drive lean manufacturing initiatives and mass production quality. The role emphasizes problem-solving, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Engineering, Materials, and Maintenance to sustain improvements on the production floor.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering/Science or equivalent manufacturing experience, plus CAD familiarity and experience with capital budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent with CAD programs (AutoCAD)
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate process wastes.
• Maximize production efficiency and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Support root cause analysis and implement permanent countermeasures.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Coach supervisors on standard work and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data collection and reporting follow standard processes.
• Manage daily operations via KPI tracking and continuous improvement objectives.
