Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a Phoenix facility. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and workforce development, with experience in scalable greenfield environments.

You will develop master production schedules, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement using lean principles while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of manufacturing operations experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading production teams in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience supporting a startup, expansion, or greenfield manufacturing operation.
• Prior experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, fabricated products, or engineered manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
• Develop, manage, and maintain the master production schedule to meet delivery commitments.
• Create and manage operational budgets, monitoring costs and driving cost-effective production practices.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and workforce development.
• Foster continuous improvement on the production floor with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Implement and support lean manufacturing to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools to plan, coordinate, and track production activities.
• Develop KPI dashboards and operational reports to monitor performance and enable data-driven decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, providing direction and feedback.
• Support startup and scaling of a greenfield or expanding operation with scalable processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and ensure on-time delivery.
