Job summary

You'll apply lean manufacturing principles, coach staff, monitor metrics, and partner with quality, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve issues quickly. This role emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and cost-efficient production.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in production, manufacturing, or operations with leadership experience.
• Proven track record of leading teams to hit production goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.
• Understanding of lean, 5S, or continuous improvement (preferred).
• Excellent communication with line workers and leadership.
• Familiarity with production/ERP software and basic reporting tools.
• Safety-first mindset and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff.
• Monitor workflow and troubleshoot bottlenecks to keep schedule.
• Partner with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Track key performance metrics (output, downtime, scrap/waste, safety incidents) and report to leadership.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and resource allocation.
