Job summary

Synergy Flavors Innova, LLC, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in Chicago, IL. You will direct workflow, coach staff, manage material flow, and collaborate across maintenance, planning, quality, and R&D to meet customer orders.

The role emphasizes LEAN practices, training, and adherence to safety and quality metrics, with accountability for production output and cost management.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain/production management.
• LEAN manufacturing experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Proficient with Word, Excel; capable of using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a manufacturing team to meet production goals.
• Plan material flow and labor to meet internal and external deadlines.
• Coordinate with maintenance, planning, quality, and other departments on improvements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met and reported daily.
• Develop and write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train staff.
