Job summary

CorTech International seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee a production area, guide team members, and drive continuous improvement in partnership with Engineering and QA.

You will apply Lean and Kaizen methods, analyze performance data, manage capacity, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching staff and conducting appraisals. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to mentor future leaders and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Materials Process Engineering.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing with leadership abilities.
• Solid understanding of Kaizen and Lean principles.
• Ability to assess department health via data and observation and implement improvements.
• Creative problem solving and diversified leadership approaches.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of team members; develop future leaders.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities; drive waste reduction and cost savings.
• Develop and deploy standardized work; improve processes and metrics.
• Perform capacity analysis and determine staffing; meet customer requirements.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate corrective actions with customers.
• Promote safety policies; conduct investigations and audits.
• Partner with HR to foster inclusive culture.
