Job summary

Employnet Workforce Management is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the production area, develop team members, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead Kaizen events, implement standardized work, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and interfaces with internal/external

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Materials Process Engineering.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing with leadership abilities.
  • Solid understanding of Kaizen and Lean principles.
  • Ability to assess department health via data and direct observation.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to apply leadership approaches to teams.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct work activity of team members in assigned area.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities; lead Lean Kaizen events.
  • Develop and deploy standardized work instructions; ensure process stability.
  • Perform capacity analysis and staffing; ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Ensure quality standards and coordinate corrective actions with customers.
  • Promote safety policies; conduct safety investigations and address non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR to promote inclusive culture and belonging.
