Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly group with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. The role requires mentoring, training, assigning tasks, and performance management to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include audits, maintenance requests, and using Lean tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high morale and compliance. Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• PDS/FMS Certification obtained through in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Train, instruct, and supervise employees to produce quality products safely and timely.
• Assign work, procure parts, and communicate production demands; perform quality and safety audits.
• Maintain safe working environment and meet company metrics (safety, quality, cost, delivery).
• Document production reports, scrap tickets, accident reports and discipline notices.
• Identify and correct performance gaps to achieve objectives and improve efficiency with Lean tools.
• Measure area performance and take corrective actions; track KPIs like quality, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Promote good employee relations and manage morale; inform supervision of capabilities.
