Job summary
Kelly Services is seeking an Industrial Process Engineer to optimize operations at a high-volume Union City, GA facility. The role focuses on Lean implementation, line balancing, and capacity planning to improve throughput and reduce waste.
You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Facilities, and Project Management to deliver measurable improvements in labor utilization and material flow, while designing efficient layouts and standard work on the floor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Apply Lean and IE methodologies to improve productivity and cost.
- Lead line balancing and PFEP initiatives.
- Develop labor standards and standard work.
- Conduct time studies and analyze capacity and utilization.
- Design and optimize facility layouts for material flow and future growth.
- Support capital equipment evaluations and facility improvements.
