Qualifications

• Industrial/Manufacturing Eng degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge with Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Process improvement goals and packaging proposals.
• Cost Reduction Program.
• Supports Quality.
• Work with a team to improve quality, safety, efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct Time Studies.
• Program CNC equipment.
• Create tooling layouts and order specialty tooling.
• Support Sales, Quality and Manufacturing goals.
• Follow CIP philosophy and meet yearly cost savings goals.
• Lead Lean applications: Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Process Flow, Production Smoothing.
• Collect data to report production efficiencies.
• Initiate CARs to improve equipment performance.
• Ensure efficiency and continuous improvement of processes.
• Analyze and improve plant and labor utilization for costs and reliability.
• Facility and warehouse layout improvements for optimal flow.
• Other duties as assigned.
