Job summary

LU-VE GROUP in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Lean Process Engineer to drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, map value streams, and implement Lean principles to reduce waste and raise productivity.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering, conduct time studies, analyze data in SAP, and develop SOPs to standardize work. On-site role with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with time studies, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct time studies, evaluate production cycle times, and improve labor utilization.
• Utilize SAP to analyze production data, monitor performance, and support process improvements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standardized work instructions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, downtime, rework, and manufacturing costs.
• Support production line optimization, equipment implementation, and facility expansion projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement results.
