Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead site production, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost targets while developing high-performing teams.

The role emphasizes Lean deployment and continuous improvement, with accountability for staffing, overtime and budget adherence across the plant. Experience in manufacturing and effective change leadership are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business.
• 7+ years of experience in Operations Management and/or Lean Management.
• Printing industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly, and through delegation, coordinates activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Assures safety initiatives and improves safety performance.
• Executes quality plans for compliance and drives process variation reduction.
• Assesses on-time delivery and develops actions to improve performance.
• Manages cost through effective labor, overtime, and expenditures.
• Determine staffing requirements weekly and redeploy resources as needed.
• Analyze production reports to identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Kaizen and Lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Facilitate daily Gemba walks and use SQDC boards and War Room tools.
• Coordinate staffing levels with HR to meet required operations.
