Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a seasoned operations leader to manage a large distribution center in the Mooresville region. The role focuses on driving Lean-based improvements, cost reduction, and safety while delivering premier customer service and on-time fulfillment.

The position oversees day-to-day value stream operations, including supervising the Center's office manager and warehouse staff, developing budgets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in warehousing or materials management, production control or related functions.
• Ability to plan work, set priorities, motivate people and take initiative.
• Travel not to exceed 10%.
• Experience with Lean teams or leading Lean teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supplements the Field Sales organization through an aggressive inside sales effort.
• Develops a realistic budget plan and manages Center within budget constraints.
• Supervises and reviews the processing of all customer service and order entry.
• Maintains familiarity with competitive environment within geographical area of responsibility.
• Issues periodic reports concerning status of department(s) to ensure adherence to established company policy(ies).
• Implements company policies and programs including personnel function of hiring, training, wage and salary administration.
• Maintains all physical properties including building, grounds and equipment.
• Maintains high level of housekeeping in all Center operations.
