Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Plant Manager to lead Operations for a 65-person site. You will drive Lean initiatives, program execution, and continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives while achieving daily to annual targets.

Reporting to the Division Operations Manager, you will oversee budgeting, personnel decisions, and performance assessments, while collaborating with multiple functions to optimize profitability and customer service.

Qualifications

• 4 year university degree (or international equivalent) in a technical or business discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in business and operational processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow the Plant and achieve goals measured weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Lead strategy deployment for the Plant initiatives and growth to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance, HR, Safety, Lean, Quality Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Production Control and Planning to develop a plant budget.
• Drive Lean initiatives throughout the Plant to ensure full adoption and implementation.
• Ensure proper inventory management, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics and quality procedures.
