Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a manufacturing process improvement professional to drive lean initiatives across multiple plants in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role entails heavy travel (75–90%) and collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to boost profitability and throughput.

The candidate will lead kaizen events, value stream analyses, and capital project evaluations while ensuring adherence to Operational Excellence standards in a decentralized environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with lean methods.
• Experience applying lean tools to improve production.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for plant-level improvement with operations and sales teams.
• Provide training and mentoring in lean methods to plant teams.
• Drive process changes through hands-on leadership at plants.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead capital project scoping, ROI analysis, and rollout.
