Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid Atlantic region. You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S to drive profitability, throughput and quality across facilities in the Mid Atlantic region.

This onsite role requires up to 90% travel among NC, PA, CT and NY, with assignments at plants near Concord, NC; Avon, CT; Raleigh, NC; Fuquay, NC; Fayetteville,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• Lean manufacturing expertise to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD; ERP/MRP and PM tools.
• Strong leadership and communication in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to apply Lean and capital investments to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant teams on lean processes.
• Lead plant improvement workshops and address bottlenecks.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications.
• Manage capital project proposals, ROI analyses, and budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework.
