Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean manufacturing initiatives and capital projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role partners with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Environmental Health and Safety to improve profitability, throughput and quality.

The position is onsite at one of our plants in Concord, NC, Raleigh, NC, Fuquay, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Avon, CT, Telford, PA or Croydon, PA with travel of

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast or similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiar with AutoCAD.
• Effective team builder and leader in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for region-wide improvements with operations and sales teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant teams on lean process improvement.
• Drive process changes with hands-on coordination at plant level.
• Optimize plant layouts to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Translate needs into project requirements and ROI analyses.
• Track capital project proposals and ensure budget compliance.
