Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role entails heavy travel (75–90%) among NC, PA, CT, and NY to improve profitability, throughput and quality.

You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS, providing coaching and hands‑on support to plant teams while advancing continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience; lean methodologies applied to operations.
• Strong track record using lean tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and process know‑how.
• Identify opportunities to apply lean or capital investments to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant teams on lean methods, 5S and kaizen.
• Drive process changes and optimize plant layouts to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead capital project analyses, ROI calculations, and proposals with operations.
