Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid Atlantic Region. The role requires deep experience in lean methods, project management and collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

You will travel 75-90% across NC, PA, CT and NY, working onsite at multiple plants near Concord, NC, Raleigh, NC, Fuquay-Varina, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Avon, CT, Telford, PA or Croydon,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; AutoCAD; ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement with operations and sales teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean improvement activities.
• Drive manufacturing process changes through hands-on communication with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications.
