Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a manufacturing process improvement professional to drive lean initiatives across Texas locations. You will lead value-creating projects, coach plant teams, and coordinate cross-functional work with engineering, quality, and supply chain to improve profitability and throughput.

The role requires 75%–90% travel across Texas sites and a track record of delivering measurable improvements using lean methods and capital investments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast or similar heavy manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and process capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for improvement at regional locations and collaborate with operations or sales teams.
• Provide guidance, planning and mentoring to plant-level teams executing lean initiatives.
• Drive process changes through hands-on coordination with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead capital project reviews and ROI analyses with operations partners.
• Develop business cases and scope for capital projects.
