Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to drive lean initiatives across multiple Texas locations. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, capital projects, and strong collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S.

Travel will be heavy (75-90%) across Texas plants, with onsite work in Houston, Mansfield, Roanoke, San Antonio, Brookshire, or Castroville.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast or related sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements using lean techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems; experience with CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement across Regional locations with operations and sales teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean process improvement.
• Lead capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including ROI analysis.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce waste and costs; oversee bottleneck resolution.
• Conduct plant improvement workshops and kaizen events to drive results.
