Job summary
CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across Texas locations. The role requires close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health & Safety.
This on-site position involves 75–90% travel between plants in Texas, including Houston, Mansfield, Roanoke, San Antonio, Brookshire, and Castroville.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
- Lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
- Quality control/maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record using lean manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
- Strong leadership and communication in a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate and improve production methods utilizing lean tools and quality controls.
- Identify opportunities to apply lean processes and capital investment to improve profitability.
- Provide training and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean initiatives.
- Drive process change with plant-level coordination and communication.
- Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
- Lead capital project scoping, ROI analysis, and implementation tracking.
- Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework and best practices.
