Job summary

ABB in Fort Smith, Arkansas, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead safe, cost-effective, and high-quality production operations. You will oversee plant equipment, staffing, and processes, collaborating with scheduling, quality, engineering and safety to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

You will direct shift and area managers, drive lean initiatives, manage budgets and training, and foster a positive, compliant workplace culture while maintaining strong communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years or Associate's degree with 12+ years in manufacturing roles including 5+ years of leadership/management.
• Proven leadership supervising teams, leading projects, driving results in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis for manufacturing challenges.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge; quality mgmt and CI; Lean cert preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; proficient in MS Office; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant, and quality-focused operations meeting customer requirements.
• Develop and lead a high-performing workforce with talent management and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence by applying lean principles to productivity, costs, quality, and delivery.
