Job summary

ABB’s NEMA Motors Division in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a third-shift Production Planner/ Supervisor to ensure on-time, cost-effective production that meets demand and quality standards. You’ll coordinate plant equipment, personnel, and processes and back up supervision as needed.

You will lead teams on a 10:45 pm–6:45 am shift, Monday–Friday, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate’s Degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 6 years experience.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
• Lean 6 Sigma and/or PMP Certifications preferred; Shopfloor Display; SAP/Workday/Kronos experience.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: ensure schedules meet demand and inventory service levels.
• Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement: identify deficiencies and drive productivity improvements.
• Leadership & Team Development: train, coach, and foster a professional, collaborative environment.
• Safety, Quality & Issue Resolution: ensure safety and quality standards are met and resolve issues.
