Job summary

CRH is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to develop and complete lean manufacturing and capital improvement projects across its Mid Atlantic region. The role involves working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams and requires 75–90% travel among North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York.

The position is onsite with locations near our plants, including Avon, CT.

Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing to support continuous production operations.
Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Track record of achieving positive results using lean techniques.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
Identify opportunities for significant improvement at regional locations with operations/sales teams.
Provide training and mentoring to plant teams executing lean projects.
Drive process changes with plant-level coordination.
Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
Lead capital project proposals and ROI analyses in partnership with operations.
Manage project commitments and expenditures within budgets.
