Job summary

You will manage daily activities, optimize throughput, and mentor team members. The position supports continuous improvement, participates in rapid problem solving, and requires coordinating with leadership to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience or equivalent experience.
• Ability to coordinate work, provide direction, and influence others without direct supervisory authority.
• Basic problem-solving skills, including root cause identification and corrective action.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow standard work instructions and operating procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of production tracking systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze production information and support data-driven decision making.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work activities and workflow for assigned production line(s) to meet production targets.
• Monitor line performance and address issues affecting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Assist with equipment operation, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting; escalate technical issues.
• Ensure materials, tools, and resources are available to support uninterrupted production.
• Provide work direction and real-time support to production employees.
• Lead startup and shift meetings to communicate goals and performance updates.
• Promote open communication, teamwork, and a safe work environment.
• Identify training needs and support onboarding and skills development.
