Johnson Electric in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Production Group Lead to oversee production operators on the 2nd shift, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. You will drive lean initiatives, perform time studies, and ensure accurate documentation and training across the team.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, equipment setups, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Production Department.

Formación

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good math skills for BOMs, time studies, and efficiency analyses.
• Proficient communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and color discernment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production operators to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Perform router markups and maintain router revision updates.
• Conduct time studies to improve process efficiency and labor utilization.
• Create, revise, and maintain General Work Instructions (GWIs).
• Monitor scrap and rework activities and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and lead process improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality.
• Maintain and update product labeling programs.
• Complete production reporting documents including labor, CAPA, and quality reports.
• Ensure compliance with Lean principles and safety guidelines.
• Train operators on new processes and work instructions.
