Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production operations department, directing daily activities to meet productivity, safety, quality, and cost goals. The role ensures adherence to company policies and continuous improvement through lean methods.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and WMS. This on-site position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Oversee material handling area and direct labor performance.
• Lead staff through coaching, motivation, and performance evaluations.
• Implement lean methods (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) to improve safety and efficiency.
• Ensure safety SOPs and maintain a safe work environment.
