Job summary

SYNNEX Corporation is seeking a Supervisor Manufacturing to lead daily production operations and drive efficiency, quality, and timely delivery at our US facilities. The role emphasizes team leadership, process improvement, and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will oversee manufacturing associates, coordinate with QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and maintain rigorous production records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and quality control systems.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as production demands require.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Plan, organize, and direct production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
• Monitor production processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and personnel challenges as they arise.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations and product quality.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality control data.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
