Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations team to meet productivity, safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. This role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position requires leadership in directing both direct and indirect labor, managing daily activities, and coordinating with the safety department to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of production associates to ensure productivity, quality and safety.
• Manage material handling activities and labor planning to meet line priorities and schedule.
• Lead performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Implement corrective actions per company policy and safety standards.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate policy changes to staff.
• Participate in hiring, evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Monitor inventory and use of warehouse management systems for accuracy.
• Support Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
