Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations within the facility. This role focuses on meeting productivity, safety, quality, delivery and cost goals while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities of production staff and material handling teams, implementing lean methods such as 5S and Kanban, and maintaining inventory with the WMS. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in food processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business publications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily production activities to meet productivity, quality, safety and cost goals.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop production associates and resolve conflicts.
• Prioritize work, assign daily tasks based on line priorities and staffing.
• Maintain inventory levels using the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and participate in staffing and performance evaluations.
