Job summary

Meyer Tool in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Project Engineer to evaluate customer drawings and determine efficient machining processes using lean concepts and continuous improvement methods. The PE will define process routings, tooling needs, and work closely with shop-floor personnel to ensure quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.

The role requires strong problem-solving, GD&T interpretation, CAD skills, and leadership to drive process improvements while supporting AS9100/NADCAP quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in manufacturing/ME/AE or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with an Associate's degree.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand all customer requirements from PO, blueprints, specifications.
• Develop and maintain process routings and operation instructions.
• Assist in development of inspection process instructions and equipment selection.
• Lead process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Provide technical shop-floor support and communicate with personnel daily.
• Ensure lean plans meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
