Meyer Tool seeks a Project Engineer at MT Cox Plant 2 in Erlanger, KY to optimize machining processes and lead lean initiatives. The PE will coordinate with shop floor personnel and process specialists to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met.

This role requires strong GD&T knowledge, Lean manufacturing experience, and Six Sigma Green Belt training, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (manufacturing/mechanical/aerospace) or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; apply lean methods to manufacturing processes.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or similar training desired.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and understand customer requirements from PO, blueprints, specifications, or other information.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain process routings and operation instructions.
• Assist QE in developing inspection process instructions and selecting proper inspection equipment/methods.
• Quote work based on requirements including small lot fees and expedite charges.
• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical support and communicate with shop floor personnel daily.
• Ensure lean plans are created and implemented; support root cause analysis using tools like FMEA, DMAIC, PDCA, 5 WHY.
• Review jobs for profitability and on-time delivery; support training of team members.
