Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks an Operational Excellence / Production Systems Lead for its Sparks, NV manufacturing site. You will drive Lean and six sigma initiatives to optimize output, reduce waste, and reinforce standard work across teams.

You will collect data, analyze results, develop countermeasures, and sustain gains through DMAIC and Kaizen methods, coordinating with operations, maintenance, and quality to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing knowledge required and ability to implement lean tools.
• Strong technical background in a high-volume manufacturing env.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel macros.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex equipment capabilities, operation and data flow.
• Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Translate process improvements into sustained improvements and standard work.
• Analyze factory KPIs for Kaizen/Lean efforts targeting non-value-added activities.
• Implement Lean practices to improve material flow, operator efficiency, and machine capability.
• Apply DMAIC and Kaizen to initiatives and sustain results.
• Lead and influence across departments to establish factory standards.
• Identify new data sources and methods for data collection and reporting.
• Quantify value of continuous improvement opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
