Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to plan and manage daily plant operations in Selma, TX. You will supervise staff, manage staffing and budget, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality output in a Lean environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years of manufacturing leadership, Lean/Six Sigma familiarity, and strong cross-functional communication. A BS is preferred; HS diploma required. Comprehensive benefits include health, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience with supervision
• Lean manufacturing experience and continuous improvement focus
• Strong communication across organizational levels
• Root cause analysis or Six Sigma training is a plus
• Lean/Six Sigma certification desired

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily operation of assigned department(s), staffing levels and budget to meet plant objectives
• Provide training to workforce to produce quality products per requirements
• Administer company rules, safety policies and initiate corrective actions
• Provide leadership and cross-functional communication across shifts/departments
• Analyze department performance against metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Guide workforce in compliance to Standard Work and improve work instructions
