Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a seasoned supervisor to manage daily operations of a manufacturing department. The role emphasizes staffing, budget accountability, and continuous improvement through Lean practices. You will train staff to meet quality standards and ensure safety policies are followed.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, communicate across levels, and apply root-cause analysis to drive performance improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Lean manufacturing experience and HPW/continuous improvement focus.
• Strong communication across multiple levels within the organization.
• Root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills; Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the daily operation of the assigned department(s) including staffing levels and budget accountability to meet plant objectives.
• Provide training to workforce to ensure adherence to quality and customer requirements.
• Administer company rules, safety policies and take corrective actions when needed.
• Provide leadership and cross-functional collaboration across shifts and departments; address issues and answer questions.
• Analyze department performance against metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Guide workforce in compliance with Standard Work and updated work instructions.
