Job summary

Greene, Tweed in Selma, TX seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead daily operations, manage staffing and budgets, and ensure safe, efficient production. The role requires strong people leadership, Lean manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while partnering with cross‑functional teams to meet quality standards and customer requirements.

A HS Diploma is required; BS preferred, and Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; BS degree preferred.
• 5 years in manufacturing with people leadership experience.
• 3 years direct supervision in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication across organizational levels.
• Root cause analysis / Six Sigma training a plus.
• This position requires U.S. Person status per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the daily operation of assigned department(s), including staffing levels and budget accountability to meet plant objectives.
• Provide training and reinforcement to workforce to ensure understanding and application of required skills to produce quality products.
• Administer company rules, regulations and safety policies; initiate and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide direction and leadership; collaborate cross-functionally across shifts and departments.
• Analyze department performance against metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Create, post and communicate roles to ensure understanding of plant commitments; guide workforce in standard work and process improvements.
