Job summary

Greene Tweed seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to drive operations, design and production planning, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets align with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, leading Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, and collaborating on new product transfers to production cells while maintaining strict adherence to quality systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations and new product development with broad strategic scope.
• Proven ability to lead teams and align resources to business goals.
• Strong CI/Lean manufacturing knowledge; Green Belt or Lean Leader preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer quality, delivery and cost requirements through planning, design, scheduling, and shipping.
• Improve SQDC metrics via root cause corrective action (RCCA).
• Build high performing teams and scalable systems.
• Collaborate with Future Value projects to transfer new products to work cells; define acceptance criteria and drive transfer closure.
• Ensure compliance with Greene Tweed's Quality Management System and policies.
• Lead CI/Lean initiatives including MDI, Kaizen Boards, DMAIC.
• Provide leadership for cross-team communication within production lines and with Supply Chain.
• Optimize Make v Buy decisions for in-house and outsourced products.
• Maintain equipment and facilities for safe, efficient output.
• Set performance goals and conduct formal reviews to support development.
• Identify resources to meet demand and manage Capacity Plan.
• Share best practices with other Production Managers.
